The unique 125West Ruby rough crystal is the largest known laboratory-certified ruby in the world. It measures 112.4mm x 112.3mm x 133.9mm and weighs 18,696 carats (8.2 lbs). It has a medium dark tone of saturated purplish Red with semi-transparent to opaque clarity. Rutile is present in the specimen. There has been NO heat treatment or color enhancement. When exposed to UV light, the ruby fluoresces in strong red as shown above.
